Huntingdonshire MP Jonathan Djanogly has been elected by fellow MPs to the Exiting the European Union Parliamentary Select Committee.    The committee is responsible for scrutinising the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union and the work of Brexit Secretary David Davis and his civil servants.     Commenting on his election Jonathan Djanogly said,   ‘Clearly over the next couple of years the question of both the UK’s arrangements for Brexit and its future arrangements with the EU are going to dominate our agenda in Parliament and beyond. Given how important these issues are I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to be at the centre of this process. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members to ensure a smooth as possible Brexit.’
