Two children are being invited to spend the day with Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly to find out more about the work of a politician. The opportunity is part of the 11 Million Takeover Day – when children are given the chance to work alongside adults and get involved decision-making at work. The scheme, organised by the Children’s Commission, is now in its fourth year and is being pushed in Cambridgeshire by the St Ives-based charity Young Lives. Last year, about 30,000 children and young people worked with hundreds of organisations. This year the aim is to get 40,000 children and young people involved. The day takes place on Friday, November 12. Applicants should be aged between 15 and 18. INFORMATION: To apply, write to Simon Burton, constituency organiser, Huntingdon Constituency Conservative Association, 8 Stukeley Road, Huntingdon, PE29 6XG. Include name, address, age, number and why you would like to work with Jonathan Djanogly.
