Jonathan Djanogly has recently visited The Round House Primary School on Loves Farm in St Neots. During the visit he met with the Head Teacher, Mrs Christine Tuff as well as Ms Julia Holmes, New Community Development Officer for Bedford Pilgrims Housing Association. A range of issues were discussed including the proposed new footbridge at St Neots Railway Station. Mr Djanogly said; ‘I was very impressed with the school and the commitment that has been shown by partners such as Bedford Pilgrims Housing Association. However, the issue of the bridge at the station is clearly one of importance for linking the Loves Farm development to the rest of the town. The recent publicity generated by the incorrect information on the First Capital Connect website has underlined this. ‘I have now written to the Chief Executive of Network Rail and requested that a firm timescale be given for this project as the infrastructure is very important for the town.’ | Network Rail Letter Photo: Jonathan Djanogly MP with Head Teacher of The Round House Primary School, Mrs Christine Tuff (middle) and Ms Julia Holmes, New Community Development Officer for Bedford Pilgrims Housing Association.
