Jonathan Djanogly visited the new St Neots based business, Life Light Rescue Ltd on Friday. Life Light Rescue have been working with the Fire and Rescue Service to save more lives in house fires. They have patented a product which assists fire fighters in locating children after a house fire has taken hold. Research suggests the most children are found hiding in their bedroom when there is a fire and this device provides a special light, which can be seen through smoke and fire, to direct fire fighters to a child’s bedroom. The light is triggered by the activation of the smoke alarm and it is hoped that it will save many lives.
