Jonathan Djanogly will spend a week in September walking the Great Wall of China in order to raise money for charity.

Jonathan Djanogly, Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon Constituency will spend a week in September walking the Great Wall of China in order to raise money for charity. Two local charities have been chosen, St Neots Abuse Project (SNAP) and Carers UK Huntingdonshire. Mr Djanogly will be joined by his wife, Rebecca alongside other volunteers from the charity Westminster Challenge.

Mr Djanogly said,

'This was a great opportunity to raise some money for local charities. I have been told that the trip involves the equivalent of some 40 hours of exercise on a step machine, albeit with some wonderful views thrown in. I would be extremely grateful to anybody who feels able to support our efforts to help these good causes and I will provide everyone with an update on our progress in due course.'
