Jonathan Djanogly, MP for Huntingdon, has shared the following message to mark Remembrance Day and ahead of Remembrance Sunday:

“Service is the act of defending and protecting our nation’s democratic freedoms. Through Remembrance we honour the many men and women who have served, as well as all those who currently do so across the globe as they protect the United Kingdom’s interests.

“I know I speak for constituents across Huntingdon when I express my heartfelt thanks to the Armed Forces community, and both Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday are a poignant time to pause, reflect and pay tribute to those we owe the greatest debt.”

Earlier this week, Jonathan took the opportunity to plant a tribute in the Speaker of the House of Commons’ Garden of Remembrance, and he will also attend a constituency Remembrance Day Service on Sunday in St. Neots.
