Jonathan Djanogly visits the new Magpas Air Ambulance emergency site

Last week [Friday 4 November] Jonathan Djanogly, MP for Huntingdon, visited the new Magpas Air Ambulance emergency site which is currently under construction in Alconbury.

During the visit, Jonathan met with the charity’s Chief Executive Office Daryl Brown MBE to learn about the positive impact the new site will have on Magpas’ operations, including in relation to boosting operational efficiency and reducing crucial response times.

This visit follows the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating the service provided as ‘Outstanding’ and, during inspection, the CQC noted the service’s positive focus on fostering a patient-centric culture and use of innovation to improve lifesaving outcomes.

Magpas Air Ambulance is the oldest emergency medical charity of its kind and, since 1971, has treated over 60,000 patients. It relies on generous public donations to continue its vital work and more information about the charity, including how to donate, can be found online using the link below.
