Jonathan Djanogly meets with Georgian Prime Minister in Tbilisi

Last week Jonathan Djanogly, Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon Constituency, led the Georgia All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) to the Georgian Capital, Tbilisi. Whilst there, the group met with fellow parliamentarians, as well as the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

During discussions, Jonathan and the group expressed continued support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic ambitions, territorial integrity and a closer working partnership with the UK.

As a country with a growing economy and largely pro-Western public opinion, Georgia is an increasingly important partner in the Caucasus region, and offers multifaceted opportunities for British businesses.

Since 2015, Jonathan has been Chair of Georgia APPG.
