During the Parliamentary Recess Jonathan led a delegation of MPs and Peers to Georgia on behalf of the UK Parliament to mark the centennial of the establishment of the first Georgian Democratic Republic. During his visit, which was supported by the Foreign Secretary and served to strengthen the UK’s long-standing relationship with Georgia, Jonathan was pleased to receive the rare honour of being invited to deliver an address to the Georgian Parliament.
