On Friday 9 March the Government’s Planning Inspectorate finally dismissed an appeal by Broadview Energy to build four 125m wind-turbines near Kimbolton. Founding Chairman of Stop Bicton Wind Farm Richard Murphy and current Chairman Martin Patterson said: “We are both delighted by this result...There are many people to thank and this result would not have been possible without the support of the Parish & District Councils & MPs Shailesh Vara and Jonathan Djanogly.” Jonathan Djanogly added that the decision was “A victory for the people of Kimbolton, our local environment and for common sense!”
