Jonathan Djanogly comments on the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

“I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Her Majesty gave exceptional and matchless service to our nation, her other realms and to the wider Commonwealth.

“As the longest reigning British monarch in history and a respected force in world affairs for 70 years the nation has lost a truly remarkable sovereign. Her Majesty dedicated her life to the service of our nation and we in Huntingdonshire join others throughout the country and the Commonwealth in giving thanks for her unparalleled service.

“I, like so many others throughout the country and around the world, am mourning the loss of Her Majesty and I send my deepest condolences to all members of the Royal Family.”
