Jonathan comments on the response he received to a Parliamentary Question from Dr Alan Whitehead MP, Minister at the Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions.

Jonathan Djanogly, the Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon Constituency, commenting on the response he received to a Parliamentary Question from Dr Alan Whitehead MP, Minister at the Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions said:

"I know from my discussions with constituents that it is very important that disabled people should have easy access to polling stations. This response from the Minister demonstrates that the Government must try harder to ensure this happens.

I would be very grateful if disabled constituents and disability organisations in Huntingdon would write to me here at the House of Commons to let me have their experiences of where they feel improvements could be made. I would then be happy to work with the local authority to press the Government to bring about those improvements."
