Jonathan Djanogly, Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon constituency has recently visited Sainsbury’s Huntingdon store and met with their manager, Kevin Sheen to discuss their community initiatives. Mr Djanogly said; ‘I was very impressed by how hard Sainsbury’s work to engage with the Huntingdon community. They have a number of programmes locally including collecting money at their checkouts, pairing up with a charity on a monthly basis and donating hampers to RAF veterans at Christmas time. ‘As a nation we are facing very difficult times economically and I was pleased to see the charitable focus of a large store like Sainsbury’s as it really does make a difference to peoples lives.’ Photo: Jonathan Djanogly with workers at Sainsbury’s Huntingdon store.
