Jonathan Djanogly, the Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon constituency, has today voiced his support for Young Lives St Ives based project Get Creative, Get Afloat in their bid for funding from the Big Lottery Fund’s Jubilee People’s Millions programme, which is competing for the public’s votes on ITV Anglia regional news tonight (29th June). Mr Djanogly said; ‘This seems like a great project and one that can really enhance young people’s lives. Should they be successful in the vote for funding I understand that they will convert a barge into a state of the art multimedia facility for young people. ‘Members of the local community will be involved in the selection and renovation of the boat which can only allow them to learn new skills and enhance their confidence. ‘I wish the bid every success and urge my constituents to support the project by calling 0871 626 88 08 to register their votes.’
