Jonathan Djanogly Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon Constituency last Friday visited the CAMRA Beer Festival held at the Burgess Hall in St Ives. This was a three day event held over the weekend and there were over 50 real ales and ciders for visitors to sample.

Mr Djanogly said;

'This is a very good local event and I enjoyed trying a few of the beers and ciders. We have many pubs in the towns and villages of Huntingdonshire and I think that it is important to support local brewers wherever possible as these amenities are central to village life, this is why I am behind the Conservative Party's campaign to 'Save the Great British Pub'.

'CAMRA hold two festivals in St Neots and St Ives each year and I would encourage people to attend as there was a very good atmosphere with a wide range of people attending.'
