Jonathan Djanogly, Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon constituency has today welcomed the decision to grant the Vikings – the First Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment, the Freedom of Huntingdon on Monday. Mr Djanogly said: ‘I was delighted to be at the ceremony to witness the Freedom of Huntingdon being granted to the Vikings. ‘The Armed forces risk their lives for us on a daily basis whether it is peacekeeping, reconstructing or being at the forefront of the fight on terror and I am delighted that Huntingdon chose to recognise their good work in this way.’
