Jonathan Djanogly, Member of Parliament for the Huntingdon constituency, has been appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice. Mr Djanogly said: ‘I am honoured to have been appointed to the Government. The Justice portfolio is a very interesting one and I look forward to working with my new colleagues on the variety of issues ahead as well as continuing to represent the interests of the Huntingdon constituency in Parliament.’ Martin Stephenson, Chairman of Huntingdon Constituency Conservative Association added: ‘We are delighted that Jonathan’s talents have been recognised by the Prime Minister. We are sure that he will now go on to have a long and distinguished ministerial career, helping the Government to overcome many of the challenges that lies ahead. ‘Jonathan has worked tirelessly for the Huntingdon constituency over the past nine years and I am pleased that he now has the opportunity to inject the same level of enthusiasm to his work at the Ministry of Justice.’
