Jonathan Djanogly, Member of Parliament for Huntingdon, today complained to officials at the Department for Transport about the location of a public exhibition being held by the Department to inform local people about the proposals for Alconbury Airfield.

The exhibition was scheduled to be held on Friday 4 October in Peterborough, and Mr Djanogly complained to the Department that the distances involved would preclude many local people from attending the exhibition, and having their say on the proposals.

The Department for Transport are now happy to announce that the meeting has now been re-scheduled for Thursday 3 October at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel from 0900 to 2100."
