MP meets CAMRA members to discuss Beer Duty Escalator

19th December 2012

Jonathan Djanogly met eight members of the Huntingdonshire Branch of CAMRA visiting Parliament on 12 December to lobby for a change to the Beer Duty Escalator.

Jonathan Djanogly said:
“I am a supporter of responsible drinking and have seen that pubs play an important role in this. If we are to be introducing minimum prices for alcohol, a review of the Beer Duty Escalator would provide a good counter-balance”.

CAMRA is a not for profit campaign group with over 140,000 members. The intention is to promote Real Ale and protect Community Pubs.
